    What does the stock temp guage read from?

    A sensor mounts into the front of the lower intake manifold - drivers side. Has a single wire going to it.

    Play around with your muffler too. It could be pointing down slightly so the tailpipe is coming back at an angle. Angling and rotating it differently?

    Oohh and they DEFINITELY cool better than the stocker. Freeway driving in 90+ summer days w/180* thermostat I'm in the N-O of NORMAL City driving I'm never above the R. Prior to this install my car would ride the A. Stock in-dash gauge though so take it for what it's worth ;)

    You could search the forum and the forum over at www.corral.net.. I'm sure something would come up.. but to answer you question yes. there is a difference. One is longer than the other, but I don't remember which. :) I think that the 87-93 one is shorter ... don't quote me on this.

    Help me fix this "pop" noise.

    This mostly happens when I'm braking and coming to a stop... if I'm go at like 2-3mph and then push on the brakes hard, it makes a funky pop noise. Sometimes if I pump the brakes mutiple times at 10mph ish it pops every time. *strange part* It definitely does it more when it's hot outside...

    Okay well I went searching through some of my pictures and here are the best I could come up with. You need to check the small vacuum line that is zip tied to the big line. Follow it from the booster all the way to where it enters your glovebox through the firewall.
