Also forgot to add. S and Sq other than being loud/quiet i believe the SQ has abetter step up ratio......builds boost sooner. The ys and ysi are small race blowers capable of 1000 h.p.
Well he said he does not want to tap the oil pan so as far as centrifugal blowers go he has a couple of options. Powerdyne or Procharger p1-sc or d1-sc. I would go with a d1-sc lot of room to grow. Stay away from flowerdynes. Tapping the pan is not hard I did it just fine as well as many...
Ive been dealing with M.V. for years. I like them alot. They are just always really busy so sometimes you may get a short quick answer which you may think is rude but they are not. Go talk with them in person. I have learned a ton about mustangs from Tim Matherly. Also Tim at Modular powerhouse...
A performance shop here wanted $135 for subframes including installation and $300 for springs, shocks, control arms and an alignment with me supplying the springs, shocks, and control arms.
I love the sound of them though they must be run with an h pipe. I hated my bassani x with the mac catback. H pipe is the way to go with these mufflers IMO.
Black306s car has always been my fav. To bad he does not post here anymore. Its been a few yrs since I have seen any pics of his car it is truly gorgeous.
I have to agree with ponyboy. If you use an x-pipe make sure you use a straight through muffler not a chambered muffler. The x sounds so much better with straight throughs than using flows or mac. I ran my x with a mac cat-back (which is my fav. exhaust with an h pipe) an it sounded like crap...
The stock cat-back is restrictive when you get into heavier mods but it also weighs a billion pounds compared to the aftermarket systems. I know the test was done at AFM I just can not remember if it was done on 347 or a really hot 306 I think it was a 347 car but do not hold me to it. I also...
The t-5 will live if you do not beat the crap out of it. The block is usually good for 500rwhp before it splits some split with less some live with more.
Id sale mine for the right price. Im trying to get into some 2 wheeled action but need to get rid of the stang 1st. I will not be in my car for the event either. The interior is still out and Im not going to have it ready by then. What time are you guys going to be out and about on Saturday? It...
I have had no problems with mine at all. No problems in corners no problems with braking. I do not see any safety hazards with it. The car use to be my daily driver for 3 yrs with the big n little welds and with that set-up and the same stuff was on the car when I bought it from the orginal...
So I know all the old post are gone. So is anyone meeting up Saturday morning or what? Whats the deal? I would like to meet/hang out with some fellow stangnetters.
I run lakewood 90/10s 50/50s with lakewood lift bars. I have never had any problems on the street ive hit some corners pretty fast as well. On the highway the car feels alittle floaty but thats it. Ive also use to run weld big and littles had no prob with that either.
