    aode to t5 swap what do you think?

    I and swaping out my aode for a t5 and I found two places that sell kits. One is a complete kit from http://www.stangparts.com with a rebuilt for $2000 not sure on shipping or the clutch. The other one is www.bieberfever.com a complete kit without clutch and a new t5 is $2100 plus $100 for shipping...

    I wouldn't say a mass is totaly useless. If you plan on a tune or a blower later down the line it not a bad idea.

    Thanks scott and lazrered. Like i said before I want to see what a vortech will do then I'll look into some heads. With it being my daily driver I would like to see 400 to 450 at the wheels after the blower...

    yes the gt40s are box stock. Looking to get a blower next. I was told you lose 15% with a stick and 20% to 25% on an auto tranny. So being an aode its not to bad. I'm really happy with the tune. (hey where did you get dyno at?i stay by milwaukee) I went to c&m performance...

    Another just got back from the Dyno thread..

    Just got back from the dyno and have to say it drives 100 times better. It's not a high horse power car but it pulls a lot harder and smoother then before. Time for a blower :nice: The numbers are max power 249.38 at about 5250 rpm and 281.22 max torque at about 3900 rpm. Air/fuel was 13.2.

    Well got the C&l pipe, a 96 to 98 C&L air filter kit, and a 3.5 to 4 inch adapter. Also a lightning mass harness. If anyone was interested. Fits real good and looks better then the mac imo. Had the chip reburned so I can drive it to the dyno on Monday. Hopfully mid 200hp after the tune.

    Right now I have a stock mass air bolted in a mac cold air. do you think a Lightning mass air and a custom jlt intake would make an improvement? The reason I asked is because I'm going to get a dyno tune and the guy that does the tuning had said some thing about using the Lightning mass air on...

    A couple of question for Vortech owners

    I guess I feel like it hurts the motor. I like the idea of a kenne bell full boost @ 2800 rpm.
