    New pics of the cobra...

I've been reading a little bit about it and you can do it with just the intakes (lower and upper) and all the rest involved with the s/c (intercooler, piping, brackets, etc. etc.) it seems that people only swap the rest of it because of the lower compression that the 03/04 heads have and other...

    rear springs...

I have a question (my first in this section I think)... when removing and installing rear springs on an irs rear. How is it done? The only writeup I've seen has been on snap-ons shopkey program at work and it is said to require removing the whole irs subframe... I know there has to be another...

    Explanation needed on Wheel Spacers?

maybe he still has the original IRS bolts... (this causes the tires that wide to rub on the bolt on 17" rims...) just a guess.

Thanks for the wonderful comments!! :) (psst.... CobraRed_96_GT.... the gascap came with the car... they all did that year I think, it's not my choice, but I'm not hating it... yet. ) I think the wheel spacers will do wonders for the look though. I'll have to get on that...

    Find name from tags?

they were probably 103 years old. Around here the "elderly" park with the feel method, when they feel they've hit something they stop. What makes it even worse, is that you parked way back to allow people with larger vehicles ample room to park. I don't even know what I would have done...

    Spring replacement

yeah, actually reading that, all I did was, take off tire. put floorjack under control arm. remove top 3 strut bolts. unclip abs wire. remove swaybar link (top part) lower floorjack. (slowly...) and obviously move strut assembly to the side remove spring with prybar.

    2003 gt and traction control

easy to turn off, but I've only done it once so far. It has saved my butt 100's in the month I've had my car though... I drive way to hard for the weather.... :)

    Spring replacement

the new spring will go in without a compressor as well. The best way I found is to put the top up first, then line up the shortest part (of the coil) on the bottom with the lowest part of the control-arm-spring-hole-sitting-spot, and give it a little (honestly not that much) convincing with a...

    wheel spacer questions

as soon as I get the rear tranny seal in with some amsoil atf, and a $100.00 oil change, I'll start getting some fun stuff again. I think it'll start with the rear wheel spacers....

    Spring replacement

there's barely any compressed enegry when the control arm is all the way down. you can easily do it without a spring compressor.

    wheel spacer questions

thanks for the responses. First off, I didn't want to cheap out. Thats why I was aking to see if the cheap ones were infact "cheap" or just cost less because of mass production or something. I also was going to get the hubcentric ones as well. but thanks for the recomendation. So the...
