    qa1 k member a arm install problem

    ok i installed my kmemberwhen i went to install the rear A arm bolts there is no enough clearence for the complete bolt head to fit inbetween the rear tab that the arm bolt goes throgh and the tab that bolts the k member to the car. should i clearence the k member or shave part of the bolt head?

    ok the new problem is the shifter doesnt feel like the detent ball is poping into the holes it also doesnt feel like the shifter goes all the way to the reverse/5th gear part of the pattern does anyone have the instructions from putting the cover back togetherwith shift forks and all

    i think what happened was i shifted it from 5th to reverse and that caused my problem

    ok so i replaced the tail shaft seal and bushing i put the tail houssing back on and it seated fine. then i forgot to put the spring,ball and shifter back on so i pulled the housing back off and tried to reinstall it again it wouldnt seat all the way now.so i pulled the tail housing off again...

    yup same thing here i hit the bell with a grinder put it back together and was still hitting si i just let it idle til it went away.
