    Alright, i was just wondering if anybody would have some suggestions to help propel my car a little lower into the 12's than it currently runs (12.50's) I'd like to run 20's or low 30's but am not sure on what to change to gain a little more power.     ls1 injectors?

    I was just curious if anybody has tried, or knows how well ls1 injectors work in a 5.0. I got a set for free from a 98 firebird (25.2 lb/hr) and was going to replace my 185k mile stock injectors with them. My car is speed density and i have an afpr. Thanks for any input

    Head and cam combo?

    Look at my sig for my combo, it seems to run pretty good and it's still speed density. The only part that doesn't fit your needs is the idle, you can definately tell that it's cammed. Oh yeah, and occasionally it will hunt for an idle, but not all that often anymore.

    Spintech or Flowmaster

    I've got spintech pro-streets on my car with an x-pipe, and i absolutely love the sound of it (as do most people who hear it). I don't have anything against flowmaster, they do sound good, but are just a little too common for my liking.

    I had 2.73's in my car up until spring, it ran 13.71 at 106 last year with them. I now have 3.55's and it has run a best of 13.40 at 107 2.2 second 60' but now it just spins all the way through second. Got drag radials now and i'll find out how it does on wednesday. Hoping for 12's. Car...

    I don't believe any 302's came with knock sensors, so i would say that probably isn't the problem.

    I must say i've been very happy with my AFM Super King Cobra. Pedal effort isn't much more than stock, engagement is smooth, but still grabs hard when shifting fast. Gets a lot of 4th gear rubber at the track. I would buy another in a heartbeat.

    Well I'll only be using them at the track because i have two seperate wheels just for them so i'm not real concerned with how long they will last just how good they hook.

    Yeah it spun pretty bad so drag radials are the next thing on my list of things to get. I just bought two 16 inch wheels off of a '94 gt so i'm just gonna buy some for those wheels and just chage them at the track.

    I have a 2001 gt five speed with a mac prochamber, magnaflow mufflers, richmond 4:10s, diablo predator and a k&n and my best time was a 13.78 at 102 mph. Is this about what it should run or am i a little bit off? Oh yeah this was on bfg kdws 275/40/17's

    Alright, this is my last post on this. Non-HO motors have a different firing order, that's how you can tell, not by the plate on the intake. Ford DID make non-HO roller cam motors. Now quit trying to argue that they didn't and they're all HO's, because they're not!

    The fact is, you're wrong if you think all roller cammed 5.0's are HO's. Yes both of them came with roller lifters, and both are 150hp non-HO 302's.
