What electric fans are you running

I don't know the CFM, but I'm running the Hot Rod Air electric fan from Mustangs Unlimited... $249.00 and a 3 core stock type radiator, one my '66. I had all kinds of heat problems before this upgrade and now it only gets to halfway between the cold mark and the normal (halfway) mark. I'm...

    Tire Rub problem on 66

Mr.BobMarley... your problem sounds very familiar to me... I have 215's and wish I had gone with 205's. It doesn't rub too often, but when it does, it scare's the crap out of me.... almost always at high speeds. The key is to stay narrow and keep the tire diameter at no more than 26".

Need to start car w/o using key

It only takes 5 minutes to remove the door lock... That's the route I'd take.

    Tint your own windows?

Pay to have it done. From what you wrote I don't think you have the ability to do it, at least not to a quality that I'm sure you want. The last 3 cars I had done only cost $140... and I got a lifetime warranty against fading, rips, tears, etc.

What tool to cut out floor pans?

Plasma cutter aside, the sawzall is one of the best tools to have in your garage. Ask for some spare bimetal blades in your stocking....

is it really that low??? cant figure it out

The shop probably has a jack across the rack... I can't get my Mach across those either. Go to a shop that can either remove the jack, or doesn't have one. The car is low, but not all that low. I am surprised you don't scrub the front tires in a bumpy turn..

Reverse offset wheels-anyone still use 'em

Just get some 12" rims with MT N50x15 (or 14) wheels. That'll get the look you're after, except the rubber will also be inside.

    No Spark

You should have 2 red wires. One large red wire that goes to the battery or solenoid, and a smaller red wire that goes into the ignition wire off the starter (that runs to one of the solenoid terminal blocks). I think it a brown wire, but that's probably not your problem. The most likely...

    REar End Question..pitch or keep

Never just pitch anything! You can always sell or trade for something down the road. You might also need the 8" for setting up spring perches on the 9", if its not made for the Mustang.

removing windows and paint tips needed

BC61 is right... you don't need to remove the glass. If a shop tells you otherwise, find a different shop.

    Front Coil Problems

I think one important question is,,,, What size tires/wheels do you have? Another is... what angle is the bottom of the rocker panel sitting at? You can always cut a section of spring off, to lower the car.

    raising the engine

You need to use the correct mounts for your car. Using the wrong part number will result in not being able to install the motor. The mounts won't be the same width as the mounting holes in the block. I ran into that problem with my engine and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work... I...

    Automatic Transmissions?

You stole the words right off my keyboard... the same two companies I'd recommend. There is another option, however. I kept my beefed up C-4 and installed a Gear Vendors Overdrive. It cost $2400, but its also good to over 1200hp and I can split gears, if I want. Its a direct bolt-in and...

    Suspension KIT (I SEARCHED!!)

Mustangs Plus has at least 3 different kits to choose from. I don't like those guys, but they do have a better selection.

Using a throttle cable in a classic?

Must have been '69 for the switch. My buddy's '69 has the cable, I have a '68 parts car that's mechanical.

    Moving the Pitman Arm

That's all too much work! If you get your steering geometry screwed, you'll make an already poorly handling car, undriveable. Just take a ballpeen hammer and put a small dent in the header, so the Pitman Arm will clear. Its not rocket science, it doesn't effect performance, and can't be...

Same story here, with my '66. Pitman arm dent and all. You're welcome to drive over to Columbus and check for yourself, if you want.
