Put the car on the dyno yesterday.

i'm still using the moroso's. they still only have one spring for our year. but- it list the front end weight of the springs as 1610-1680lbs. race weight, my car is 3300lbs. 50/50 (yeah right) is would be 1650 over the nose.

i'm sorry, i meant to say 'shocks' not 'springs'. calvert shocks. the caltracs were in the upper hole. i just moved them to the lower, but no passes yet.

Best place to buy 6cyl springs?

i don't buy much 'non racing' stuff for my car, so i don't really know what places are out there besides cj's and laurel mt. any suggestions where to buy 6cyl front springs? thanks.

oh, it builds boost fine on the t-brake. i can set that with the ams. i started with 3.5lbs, then ramped it in. when i ramped it in faster, about 75ft out, the tires didn't agree. i tried leaving on 6lbs also. it didn't feel that bad in the car, but to watch the vid, you'd think i stalled...

Put the car on the dyno yesterday.

i drove a hour to the track and made some passes last night. for alcohol, it's sensitive to a/f. i leaned it out .5 pt and it picked up 2mph. leaded out out another .25, and it slowed down 2mph. i messed around mostly with the boost controller. the car leaves like a turd, even on the trans...

the a/f is more solid across the rpm range. it doesn't creep lean like my csu. it cruises rock steady at whatever a/f i choose. i still have a tip-in hesitation that is getting better, but not ironed out yet.

i checked the limiter in the efi and the ing box. it doesn't hit that hard. you can still pull past it, but it struggles. the guy on the pedal just got out of it when it hit. since the a/f is in the low 7's, i imagine it's spark.

120's. not vlave float, since i ran this engine before with no problems (blow-thru). thanks for the suggestions.

1st time ever for that car. combo: 351w, t76, c4, 21psi, e98, efi. made a bunch of pulls creeping up on the tune. the car loved timing with the e98. no intercooler and it took 28deg @ 20psi. i have 38deg @10psi. car made 700hp/643tq. it was breaking up ~5700, but i don't know what...

Crate Engine Builder wants me to go F.A.S.T. EFI over Mass-Flo . . .

well, it sounds like you're set on the mass-flo. it's your car, your call. if you're happy with your conversations with mass-flo, then go for it.

you'll NEVER outgrow a f.a.s.t. system. alot more people running and tuning it, so you'll have much more support.

    Fired it up!!

update: drove it yesterday. put alot off miles on it working on the ve table. buddy piloted it, and i stroked the keys. 4psi felt good. baby steps. i would've got more done, but i couldn't keep alternators in it. :( the 2nd one lasted only 20 minutes. damn autozone. my fault. anyways...
