Mystery solved... With the installation of the carpet, the clutch pedal travel ha been reduced (ever so little). This resulted in the Starter/Clutch Interlock switch not being fully engaged and as such, the starter would not fire. To fix this I adjusted the piston stop clip. The car...

Carpet installed - Car won't start now

    - Starter does not engage at all - battery is sitting at 12.8 volts - No solenoid clicking - fuel pressure gauge is showing pump is on - factory security tab is in place - Insertia button fully depressed. I'm inclined to believe it's some sort of ignition safety... - neutral...

Where can I get this convertible part ??

These 2 parts ensure that the door is aligned upon closing on a convertible (1992). The female part resides in the door jam, while the male is fastened to the door. The female/receptacle side contains a plastic insert which I believe is meant to reduce the sound of these 2 parts coming...

From: http://www.b2motorsportsllc.com/tech.htm Checking piston to valve clearance is an extremely important part of engine building. Most aftermarket forged pistons have plenty of room for valve lifts up to .650” but it only takes a few minutes of your time to double check and eliminate the...
