To install boost / A/F Gauge or not to install... THAT is the Q

I was wondering how very difficult it is to hook up pilar mounted a/f and boost gauges. I ordered the autometer gauges and a dual pod from my local auto place, getting it tomorrow. Has anyone had experience with this? I want it to look very clean and work right. Would I be better off having it...

    Kenne Bell v. Procharger

Again, what is your issue with the vortech? It is a few hundred less than the procharger, thousands less than the KB. If you have the money, go KB, otherwise, I'd reccommend a Vortech, get the mongoose kit from www.modularpowerhouse.com The oil pan IS NOT hard to do. It took less than...

I want to hook up in 1st...

Intersting... So there's no fool-proof way to hook up on the street? I'm not concerned with the legality of the tires since I only plan on wearing them once in a while, like on the weekends sometimes. And no, they're not DR's, they're just "ultra high performance summer tires"

I want to hook up in 1st...

As of now, with 285/35/18 Toyo Proxie T1-S', I cannot get traction past 1/2 throttle in 1st gear. The car swings out at abouot 4500rpm in 2nd, or through 2nd if I shift hard. What wheels/tires would I need to be able to get traction? I have 358hp/346tq at the wheels. I was thinking buying...

    Quietest Midpipe / Headers?

Are there any catted midpipes (H or X) that flow a lot more air than stock but are just as quiet? I just got my Vortech on and I'd like to free up some power with the exhaust. Right now all I have is a MAC cat-back, and my car is plenty loud. If I could only buy one to compliment my cat-back...

    Ok to cut flex hose?

Sorry, this should be in the power adder forum, but that's really slow, you guys should know though :D Ok, can I cut that flex hose so that I can fit the plastic inlet in there to connect the s/c to the flex hose which connects to the MAF? Or do I need to screw around with it A LOT and...

    Drilling Out Crankshaft Bolt

Yea, I've noticed, it's actually the bolt that came with my March U/D pullies. I put it back on after uninstalling the U/D's and forgot I was supposed to use the stock one. The bolt bottomed out and mushroomed, making it impossible to get it back out.

    Drilling Out Crankshaft Bolt

Ok, it's a long story. Has anyone ever drilled out the bolt that holds the harmonic balancer on? Any tips? It's going, but VERY slowly, I'm afraid something might get ****ed up...

    need help identifying wheel locks

I had the same problem. I took a 1/2" drive 3/4" socket and heated it up with a blow torch real nice. I then pushed it as far onto the lug nut as I could, then banged it on really hard with a metal mallet. I let it cool off for like 15mins. Then I used the ratchet to turn it off, push in...

    turbo or supercharger

Just to throw some numbers out there, do not take them to be the be all end all: Most single turbos are around 70mm, twins are 50mm each. by management I assume you mean fuel? 42# injectors 255lph pump is a standard Again though, these are rough numbers to help you get an idea, they are...

If you're upgrading your front GT brakes to Cobra brakes...

Well, yea, if you're road racing you probably should. I got just the front cobra brakes and left the back stock. There is a HUGE increase in braking, you have infinitely more control over how hard the brakes are being applied, the pedal is very dynamic, it's hard to explain unless you've...

My last Vortech question... How many psi?

Very good, thank you. Would you reccommend the S or SQ? I started a thread about that, but I'm looking for videos, do you happen to know of any?

My last Vortech question... How many psi?

Ok, so I've decided to get this: http://modularpowerhouse.com/product_info.php?cPath=49_50&products_id=121&osCsid=4e1bfe80c6733d0bfd82b48141d69e24 Over the "tuner" kit. Will this come with the 6 or 8LB pulley???
