    getting ready to start 347

    Ok never had any experience with the strokers and cam in a 1994. I am going to start it this afternoon and i was wondering what to expect and what to do to get it running good enough to go down the road set the timing and what not.

    The thin chrome ones work good. The one where you line the tabs up and turn a quarter turn will work good. (that is from what i can tell by the pic) I did a motor not to long ago and used those same valve covers and they worked nice.

    what to expect out of an f cam

    well the f cam came in the shortblock and i plan on nitrous also and the lobe seperation is 114 which is ideal for nos. Do you have a suggestion of an out of the box cam. how would the trick flow stage 2 work out. I am not going to use nitrous much. So a different cam may need to looked ot huh.
