Cipher racing seats
I am currently looking to replace my seats as well. I've been looking into cipher myself. Did the brackets come pre installed? If not, how hard were they to install?- Ross302

1981 Fuel tank/Sender replacement Carbureted
I recently bought a replacement tank for my 81 notchback, 5.0 carbureted. The replacement tank is larger, 15.4 gallon. The sending/pick-up unit does not fit in larger tank, due to current bends. I cannot find a replacement... :( Also, I need to find replacement tank straps, however all...- Ross302

Sorry, Its a 1981, with original wireing harness that has been chopped up. I replaced the original 4.2 2bbl with a 90 5.0 4 bbl. I spent alittle more time looking at what I have to work with. I have a MSD 6A ignition, a coil and distributor. The car I am working on came to me with many pieces missing and a lot of missing wires. The person who owned it before moved the solenoid inside the fender. I don’t think there are any wires to connect the distributor, alternator or what ever...- Ross302

I wanted to go with a early 90's GT nose and also add a scope to the hood to compensate for the 1 inch spacer on the carb/air cleaner. But am always open for sugguestions.:)- Ross302

Thanks for posting all the pics and updates, as I am not much of a writer. I am off the the bone yard today to see what I can find... Need the drive shaft bolts and random alternator bolts. Hopefully I can get some more done to the car today.- Ross302

motor is in. :nice: I had to chase down all kinds of bolts, as 80% of the hardware was missing. but its in. put in clutch kit and connected the clucth cable. I am missing the bolts to connect the drive shaft to the rear-end. But a friend is getting those for me. I need to figure out...- Ross302
