1981 Fuel tank/Sender replacement Carbureted

I recently bought a replacement tank for my 81 notchback, 5.0 carbureted.
The replacement tank is larger, 15.4 gallon.
The sending/pick-up unit does not fit in larger tank, due to current bends.
I cannot find a replacement...
Also, I need to find replacement tank straps, however all replacements I have found are not the right kind???
The replacements show the pin in back of one of the straps.
The only ones that seem to be right are the 70-73 straps...

Has anyone had to use these straps and does anyone know what replacement sender/pickup I need to fit the 15.4 gallon tank?

It has been a while, but I put an 80 tank in my 82. I ended up using the 82 straps, and putting some foam spacers above the tank because it was shorter. I had to use the 80 filler tube also.

I think some of the resto places sell gas tanks, straps, and related items. I did use the 80 gas gage sender and pickup, and the gage works ok. Later ones have different resistance.
