    I picked up a non SFI one today at a local speed shop plus the spacer, install shall begin tonight... so far it looks like a decent piece. Probably made in China but for a pretty stock motor like mine it should do fine :nice:.

    got a 150K mile bottom end, this is the first oil change i'll do since I've bought it and I have no idea what kind of stuff they had in it before. Are the rumors true will a high mileage non-synthetic run motor leak like a sieve if you put synthetic in? I think it's an old wives tail...

    yes i'm aware of the drive gear issue but 6% will be close enough for now, when the trans needs a rebuild i'll swap it for the 7 tooth. I found out today ford only makes up to a 21 tooth... sooo anyone know where I can get a 23 tooth in San Diego by friday? :(

    Hey guys just finished a gear swap from 2.73s to 3.73s, obviously the speedo is way off. Does anyone know what speedometer gear (VSS gear) count i'll need for the new combo? Tires are 245/45 R17s. I need to do this today and the ford dealership closes at 5 (less than 2 hours).

    how hard is it to change from an auto to a manual?

    sooo you'd pay 2k for a v6 u gotta swap all ur stuff onto, rather than $1500 for a 5.0 5sp vert? Verts will always be worth more.... Not to mention u could probably sell ur car for $4-500 and have 1k into the vert, plus you could swap all the better parts over before you sold it...
