    How hard was it to tape off the side mirrors? Did you just outline the tape around the glass part? Also, the little flexible plastics things that are in direct contact with the bottom of the window--did you paint those too? thanks

    I do too. The 5.0 Mustang has nothing to prove when compared to newer cars...it already dominated its era and established a cult-like following. Its like comparing a 1st gen Mustang to a foxbody--the fox is all around a better car, but guess which one I'd take?:p I'm sure most other 5.0...

    I'm wanting to run a short belt, can I bypass the p/s, smog, and a/c? If so, what size belt would I need for stock pullies and what size would I need if I get underdrives? Do any of you drive your car daily with no power steering? How is it?

    Maybe because most f-bodies are fugly :p and they do have some weak points like the rear end, weight, price of mods, price of car, 4l60E trannies suck...my friend runs 12.4's all motor but he's on his 3rd trans.

    I may be wrong but a 87+ 5.0 is 225hp compared to 260hp for the 99+ GT, torque is basically the same. With a catback, h-pipe, silencer out, timing bumped, and maybe 100lbs thrown out of the car the 5.0 should have a very good chance. An LX 5.0 should also be about 250lbs lighter than a 99+GT.

    Speeding ticket in NC

    I had a 106 in a 55 about 3 years ago....I know very stupid but I got it reduced to 70 in a 55 and I also got a PJC which kept me from getting any points and insurance increases. With the small ticket you have the lawyer will settle it in 5 minutes and you'll be done.
