    I gapped the new plugs to 0.34 and I also have a Petronix Ignitor module in the stock distributor. I did tighten the bolts on the exhaust manifold but it still makes the sound once in a while. Thanks for your input.

    Jeff, Yes, I do have a stock cam. The car runs fine and the power is OK. I'll research "exhaust scavenging" a little more to find out exactly what it is. Thanks for your input.

    Mustang Plus Carpet Kit Is Junk!

    I have a 67 mustang convertible and I bought a new carpet from Mustangs Plus in January of this year and had no problems with the size. I had to trim both the sides and the front to make it fit properly. Maybe the manufacturer label the carpet wrong.
