    roller motor to 84 GT

    ok im in the middle of the same basic swap im using an 89 roller for my 83 gt you need a different distributer gear or a dist. out of and 85 mustang gt with a carb. if you intend to keep it carbed. 85 used a roller motor and was the last year for carbs so the 85 carb. dist has all you need.

    get a t-5 out of a turbo coupe they are stronger and i believe have lower 1st and 2nd ratios. look to spend like 100 to 300 for a used trans as far as swaping it out if you already got a t5 in it the total swap can be accomplished in under in hour depending on mechanical abillity (no offense)...

    Tach question

    i got a 93 mustang with the edis ignition system (8 spark plugs) my question is what wire on which coil pack will i need to tap into to get an aftermarket tach to work on the car. or what wire elsewhere in the car if there is anywhere else to hook up the tach to recieve a signal. :shrug:

    To anyone who wants bump in the trunk

    damn kids and their systems..... i love it lol got a JL 10 inch in my car and a custom box sounds excelent but its not that my neighbors hate. infact its the exhaust system that gets me fan mail sent to my home with no signatures or return adress. like i said damn kids and their cars :bang:
