    i had that same issue mostly on the decel it ended up being an exhaust leak between the my new headers and x pipe being as wise as i am i left the new nuts on the headers studs and attached with the old ones. done any exhaust work lately?

    its most likely a fuel issue however if that doesnt do the trick check the spark my buddies mustang did the same thing we replaced every fuel component but it was a new distributor that did the trick just a thought good luck:nice:

    hey im new to this forum hope you can help me out im planning on coverting my 86 to mass air has anyone here done it on their own using junkyard parts? Im a backyard mechanic on a budget so i was hoping not to spend the $500 on the kit. Anyone around Portland have the parts?
