    4.11's are perfectly okay with an AOD, in fact that is what most people recommend to run with an AOD. I am gonna run 4.30's with a T5.

    Mine is mechanical as well. But yes the motor is fresh I only have 260 miles on it right now. So I have a ways to go before I can really say it is broken in.

    I know there are the three different ones, and I picked the right one. I must have read it wrong in my inexperience. I will not risk it anymore, I will always mic it to be sure. I created too much headache for myself to risk doing it again.

    My idle is slightly higher right now till I can get 1000 miles on it and throw it on a dyno, and gear the car properlyk. I am idling around 1000rpms, but I don't think that makes that much of a difference, maybe 5psi.

    Nope mine is a standard oil pump. I am running 10w40 oil though. Iskwezm 10 psi is a little low, it's not terrible but you should generally atleast have 15psi at idle.

    Axle question.

    Mine has a 2.95 on the first gear, and the overdrive is a lower ratio which will allow me some more gear. We will play with it more here and there, a gear change is easy, but the 4.30's should do fine. If not I can always swap, the important matter right now is the axles.

    Your idle at 600 is a tad low, but 25psi oil pressure is just fine. Mine starts at 60psi then it warms up and comes down to 30. Sounds to me like your car is just warming up which causes the settings to change. You need to tune the carb with the engine warm, you may have tuned it while it was cold.

    Have you considered a simple conversion to manual brakes. It is much cheaper, and they are better. That is my own opinion I prefer manual brakes myself. I need to ditch my power brakes I barely passed safety with them, but they are by no means safe by my standards.
