    Larger MAF require a tune?

    Just wondering if there are any downsides to replacing the stock MAF with a 76mm ProM unit without retuning the air/fuel? The other mods to the car are ported E7's, a TFS street heat intake, and a 70mm throttle body.

    Havn't checked the thermostat but now that you mention it I'm going to replace it and see what happens. The rad hose gets hot whenever the thermostat opens; just hotter when its overheating.

    It is the stock gauge and I know the car is getting hot because if it didn't it wouldn't be spitting up coolant. It doesn't go ALL THE WAY to the top, but it goes to the "N" or the "O" in normal, which is one notch away from being at the top.

    I'm just trying to eliminate the head gasket as the problem. I really don't want to have to tear down the motor again. Is it possible that the intake gasket could be the problem? My oil isn't milky or anything, but could coolant find its way into the combustion chamber via the lower intake?
