I don't really know much when it comes to cams, but I'm looking to put one in my fox. I had my car dyno'd at DaSilva's yesterday and it made 250hp/280tq with the following mods:
- Ported E7's with Crane conical valve springs. Milled to 58cc. Flow same as GT-40
- Trick Flow Street Heat intake
- 65mm Ford Racing TB and EGR
- 75mm Pro-M MAF
- Full exhaust
- Pullies
- Crane 1.7rr
What I'm looking for is a cam to get me a little bit more power, but without changing any of the above mods, in particular the 1.7rr's. The car is my daily driver and needs to pass emissions. Can anyone recommend a cam that would work well in this application?
Forgot to mention I'm looking for an off the shelf cam. Nothing custom right now.
