Don't waste your money on speed bleeders

Like the title says don't do it. Just spent 20 something dollars on 2 sets. They are a pos. They didn't work at all. Did some research after I bought them (good idea) and read an article saying that about 50% of the time they don't work. Just get someone to pump the brakes while you bleed your...

    Change your brake fluid!

I just got Russell speed bleeders from Summit Racing. They were the only ones that I could find for my 98'. They were cheap too, only 10 bucks a pair. I haven't used them yet though. I will be changing my hubs, rotors and pads this Friday so I'll see how they work then.

Do I need the brake dust shields??

That set up on the spindle can have a hose type assemble attached to it going up to the front bumper. Kinda like ram air for your brakes.

Do I need the brake dust shields??

I was getting ready to do my brakes, new rotors& pads and hubs and I noticed that I don't have the shields on the front spindles. Do I really need them? I don't drive on any dirt or gravels roads so I'm not too worried about rocks hitting the rotors. I called two dealers and LRS and they don't...

Doing brakes need advice for bleeding

Whats the best way to bleed the brake system?. I'm going to be buying Russell speed bleeders since I have no one to help me. I will be taking everything off down to the steering knuckle. I'm basically doing an overhaul- new hubs, new rotors, pads, and prob will replace the rubber parts inside...
