    as in this THREAD I bought a new truck. in short its a 77 f250 4x4 351m 4 spd 410 gears. I need a new carb for it, its got a edelbrock intake on it so a 4bbl is in order. I lean towards holley for there popularity. What do you recomend for a carb for it? electric or manual choke...

    LOL i know, i have plans for that, its hard to mount a pto winch the same as a electric winch, thats why it sticks out like it does but i think if i angle the corners back to the front end it would look less homemade. aint no showqueen but I think the trucks relatively solid. -gbm-

    Iv had the entire heater assembly apart both engine compartment and under dash, the temp flap and defrost/heater vent flap are working fine..... theres no leaks anywhere either.... -gbm-

    The hoses are not clogged nor is the system, flushed and new coolant a month ago.. both heater hoses and the heater core are hot... How do I check the flow through the heater hoses??? I could put a 195 thermostate in there but this truck has a tendancy to run too hot in the winter when...

    I like this guys idea, start from the bottom (calipers) and move along opening each joint untill you find fluid coming out while you have someone pump, if you make it all the way back to the master cylander then thats your problem.... chances are the calipers are froze up, but it sounds...

    When my dads 79 300 i6 rear main seal leaked it played havick with the clutch.. but you allready took this into consideration... I know my buddy replaced the pan gasket on his 77 t-bird 400m and it took him 2 tries..... lets hope its the pan thats easier to fix :canflag: -gbm-
