    just make sure you use antiseize or oil on the stainless hardware or it can gawl and make it impossible to get them apart, just my experience Russell

    ok got the fan wired to high at all times, sits at the n with my 180 tstat, but it still pings in the midrange, tomarrow im going to try to run 93 instead of 89

    ok its 95* here today and it heated up to the a, and pinged, so maybe the balancer is off, what should the timing read with the spout plugged in??

    the car was a dog and didnt really like to rev quick thats why i checked the timing, i figured out that the detonation i heard was actually the pasenger side header leaking, so it wasnt pinging when i had it at 14, just heating up. and at 14 it ran awesome, major difference. thanks Russell

    How was your launch with the o/r pipe? any tire spin? that would be my guess, freeing up exaust flow shouldnt hurt the bottom end, only help it just my 2 cents Russell

    My question is what would cause just the two lower settings of my heater fan not to work, while the upper two do??? I'm confused is there a seperate relay for these, maybe a fuse?? Any help is appreciated, thanks Russell

    I would go with a used shortblock, these can last a lot of miles and ALOT cheaper that a proper rebuild, then you get the performance gains that h/c will give, good luck Russell
