the two low speed fans for my air/heat wont work?????

My question is what would cause just the two lower settings of my heater fan not to work, while the upper two do??? I'm confused is there a seperate relay for these, maybe a fuse?? Any help is appreciated, thanks

Most blower motors have a resistor pack, but when it goes, usually only high speed (straight voltage to the motor) works.

my guess would be on the blower motor itself. i wouldnt imaging it being on the back side of the knob...

It's by the blower, under the glove compartment area.. just a little square box thing you plug in and out basically. Replace it and I bet your fine.

Yep it was the resistor, right in the pasenger side floorboard on the heater box, $15 from ford, thanks guys
