    I would make sure the distributor is stabbed correctly, I think there is a sticky on that. I would recheck firing order, and pull codes. Did you re-use old balancer or get a new one?

    I'm putting a 1993 black dash in my 1988 GT. I have a 140 mph cluster from a 1991 GT, I have been told I will need to re-arrange the wires on the plug for the cluster to make everything work right. Is this true? If true which wires go where? Schematics would help as I am not a wiring expert...

    I think regardless of what you read or heard, you should borrow/buy a pushrod length checker and use it....between that and pulling codes you should be able to get a concrete answer...
