    When my '89 GT was still AOD and dead stock besides a dynomax catback , cheap shift kit and 3:73's I went 14.7 on a 95 degree day and in the late fall I went 14.2 @ 96 after letting the car sit for a couple hours and took air out of the rear tires .

    X-Pipe by far , I have BBK shorties , Catted BBK X-pipe and dynomax mufflers and it sounds good ! Much different from the H-pipe/Flowmaster sound everyone seems to have .

    tips + tricks for installing carpet.

    I took out front and back seats , and the center console. I sat the carpet down and cut little X's to pull things through like the some wiring and to make room for the seatbelt hardware . It's not bad at all and the new carpet made my car look much better.

    I just got a set of strange adjustable rear shocks for my 89 GT , I'd like to get a set of nice upper/lower control arms while i'm at it .     Good thing you are ok , I can't stand stupid people because someone wasn't paying attention there's one more Notch down for the count. I had a girl pull out without looking and slam into my passenger side fender , luckily the damage wasn't bad but it pissed me off!

    I would go with a N/A 408w . Simple , good power , alot more cubes than a 302 based combo , and if you get bored throw a nitrous kit on it in the future.

    Trick Flow has the instructions on their website , I just looked . It looks like as long as you have everything together right the tensioner bolts on to the bracket plate.
