    Opinions on Fuel Pump

Sweet! I bet you didn't rip your filler tube seal like I did. I didn't even notice until I had $30 of gas in the tank. Just spilled right out the side. I must have ripped it putting the tank back on.

    Opinions on Fuel Pump

I just popped the 255 pump in yesterday that I bought from Steeda. It rocks. If you want my old 190 you can have it for cheap!

    alluminum drive shaft?

YES IT'S WORTH IT! My stock driveshaft was such an unbalanced piece of crap that it would vibrate the tranny out of gear doing 70 MPH. It's a great piece to have on the car, and pretty easy to install.

How Do You Drop Gas Tank????

I JUST finished installing my new fuel pump. All you should need to do is: 1) As mentioned above, use a jack to support the tank as you lower it. 2) Get those bolts off that hold the straps in place. 3) Remove the bolt that holds the metal ring to the tank. The ring holds the fill tube in...

    Car won't start

Check the simple things first. Make sure you have spark. Listen for the fuel pump by turning the key to the "on" position (but don't turn it over). If you hear the pump, make sure you have fuel pressure building up. The simple way to check that is at the schrader <sp?> valve. If you have spark...

    Overheating Question

I'm having the same problem dude. After years of replacing parts, reading forums and diagnosing... I've come to the conclusion my CCRM has gone bad. My fan turns on with my manual switch, with AC on and with defrost on. But I have *SEEN* it not come on occasionally. It's possible it's a...

    Installed my gauges today

Very nice gauges! I just bought a three pod a-pillar cluster with gauges. I almost bought the same gauge pod you have, but I want three gauges. Has anyone heard of Mookeeh gauges? Are they any good? I'm getting three of those gauges (A/F, volt and boost) plus the a-pillar pod cluster for...

Mine is pretty stiff too. I've even had a clutch replacement, transmission rebuild and clutch cable check. Still it's stiff. I just accepted it! :) I have had the car for 5 years. It hasn't gotten worse.

    Is it my CCRM?

Hey thanks Hissin50. You helped me get this far!!! :) I looked some more when I got home. I found out my CCRM is kicking on the fan, well,.... most of the time. It was intermittent. I'm guessing it's on it's almost toast. So I'm going to buy this one guy's used CCRM I think.

    Is it my CCRM?

Update: 4) The fan comes on with A/C and defrost on. 5) I pulled my electrical connector off my fan after hearing that people have had theirs burn up. It looks like it is a bit melted. The question now: If the electrical connector is bad, why does the low speed come on while pulling...

    Is it my CCRM?

I'm still trying to narrow down the problem of my cooling fan not coming on by itself. I've read TONS of threads and they were very helpful. But now I'm confused. 1) When I pull the codes from the computer, the system kicks on the low and high cooling fan just fine. 2) My manual switch runs...

    do i need an FMU w/ s-trim?

Question Question: If he's running a stock FPR won't that be his limiting factor? I'm still a little new to the fuel pressure and the concepts, so call me on it where I'm wrong so I learn. But I know how a FPR and FMU work. So if he doesn't run an FMU or an adjustable FPR, where will the...

    Cooling issue, need electrical guys

I actually do not have the fan shroud even on, but keep in mind it cools fine when I kick on the fan manually and of course on it's own on the highway. The issue simply seems to be the fan not coming on by itself. I don't have a spare CCRM, what do those run pricewise? I will check pin 14 and...

    Cooling issue, need electrical guys

I've had a cooling issue for 3 years now. I installed a manual high speed switch on it as a temporary band-aid. Now I want it really fixed. And before you suggest it, yes, I've spent hours reading the forums about this. ;) Symptoms: 1) Gets way too hot at idle or around town driving. 2)...

    Help!! -- Overheating -- Help!!

What temps for each fan speed? Does anyone know what temps the low and high speed fan should come on? I've had this exact same problem for a couple years now. I have a huge alum. radiator, 180 degree stat and brand new ECT. For the time being I've used my manual fan switch but I'm just...

    Please help... elec. prob's

Same prob here I'm having the same problem. I just installed a whole new system: deck, speakers and amp in my 95 Cobra. I've already narrowed the problem down to the amp. I'm 90% certain it just isn't grounded well. If anyone else has this problem with an amp, or without. Try disconnecting...
