    I am not trying to be a dick, but KB pistons are NO WHERE NEAR the best. If they are not FORGED........then like all other casy/hyper pistons, they do not take much detonation before shattering, breaking. Hence, my comment.

    Air gap is as high as Vic Jr....so no good for hood clearing! Put a 750 holley, and stealth or rpm intake, and you will have a wicked screamer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That tiny cam works WONDERFULLY in a mild 351w on the street! Make certain you have your car tuned....those pistons will take...

    I was going to buy the prothane ones.they look AWESOME!, but I have spent so much on the money pit lately, that I need to draw the line. I actually ended up modifying my stock ones with the 1/2" grade 8 bolt thru it..........it isn't going to seperate now.:D

    No it is not that simple!:doh: Stroke, rod length, piston comp height, decking all effect the static CR. Cam will effect dynamic CR. So, like I said..........flat tops will put the damn CR thru the roof! You need dishers........and yes at least 20cc will be the ticket. Shop around...

    YES. Flat top 302 pistons give 11-12:1 CR.........TOO much for most of us. I chose Mahle pistons and am VERY impressed with them and the customer service they gave me! I have Mahle # SBF 600000i26 they have 26cc dishes, give 9.2:1 CR with 64cc heads, 9.5:1 with 60cc heads and 10.1:1...

    Yes I have used the 88300, and I just bought a set of 88308 which are the elite series. They are WICKED!!!! Highly recommend the elite hedmans, very very nice and they are only $265.00 at summit/jegs.

    Those world heads are not very good flowing. Also, I ran a 800cfm wet flow carb on my 351w....it ran wicked, so a 750 is not too big. BUT, I would get a street avenger by holley over the edelbrock.

    Tell him to get some Canfield 192 heads from www.camshaftinnovations.com Jay Allen is the guy who runs that, he is a custom cam maker who made my cam and sold me heads. They are killer and cost me $1195.00 with GOOD parts.

    How can I fit a 351w and Vic Jr intake under my 67 hood?

    I have a 351w with 750 hollet, and want to run my vic jr intake.........I have a brand new 67 turn signal hood that has mega dollar paint on it. I have a 1 1/2 " drop base air filter housing, and a 3" tall K&N filter. Has anyone done it.if so how?????:canada:

    The Edelbrock RPM heads will take stock length pushrods.
