    i have steada alum. lowers and love em. cant wait to do the intercepter uppers. If i had to do it again i would go with MM or the steada's.

    I thought about taking the seats to a shop but saw a place on ebay that had the foam and thought that it might make a good winter project. seats, carpet and various other small items. I use to have a memory foam mattress, talk about some good sleepin!

    dont really like the aftermarket seats, personaly i think they look rice. im not looking to "pimp" my car, like the way the stock seats fit (my ass and the car) and the way they look in the car. Plus the car was originally a leather car.

    has anyone restored their seats useing aftermarket seat foam and a leather kit? i was thinking of doing this and wondered how hard it is to get the leather around the foam. Also is there a kit to fix the power lumbar in the drivers seat?

    i changed my headlights and bulbs a few years ago. Silverstars are in mine and when i can get the GF to buy new headlights for her 01 Silverstars are going in there also.

    mine did the same thing, when the eng. got hot the magnetic "eye" in the dizzy would quit working and it would quit telling the coil to fire. drove me nuts for about 3 months.

    i found some steeda alum. lowers on ebay a few winters ago, other than the subframes connectors they have been one of the best mods so far.

    do the subframes and you should have some $ left over to give you a jump start on saving for shocks and struts.

    may be a bad sending unit, i changed mine and it still read wrong for about a month then i started it one day and it has been spot on from then on.

    so the coolent in the overflow is what is leaking? have you checked for a leak in the overflow can? check the water pump around the weep hole? passenger floor still dry?

    another vote for the falken 512's. i just had to replace mine and the store quit carrying them, had to buy some fuzions. the fusions will do until i can find a local store that has falkens. the 512's can be found on e-bay for under 300 but shipping and mount and balance will take you over 400.

    valve body cleaning on a AOD?

    can the valve body be removed from an AOD and cleaned with out messing it up? mines not wanting to shift from 2nd to 3rd except under high rpms. after i finaly get it to shift to 3rd it will do ok. :shrug:

    i did the 1.7 rr swap and didnt get any power from it, could have been bad tune or something and not the rockers

    top that is. i got sick of refilling my pump on my vert so i went to dissconect the rams and found that you cant get to the top of the ram from the side. i learn this after i done broke a the trim around my seat belt. top up there is a hitch pin that holds a pin through the frame of the top...
