    While H-pipe is dropped...

I called Ford parts asking about the replacement rubber bushings and they only sell the crossmember as an assembly, so the urethanes maybe the only game in town if you want to replace the bushings only. Anyone found rubber replacements for the crossmember bushings elsewhere?

    While H-pipe is dropped...

Where did you get your replacement crossmember bushings? Did you go urethane or stay rubber? I might as well replace the transmount and crossmember bushings anyways, both should be easy right now.

Mach 1 springs on FOX 93 Stang....

I can't tell you about the amount of drop, but I believe it dropped a bit. I bought my Notch with mach 1 springs on it so they do work and fit fine. I like the springs and think the car handles nice.

    While H-pipe is dropped...

When I used to have a Grand National sealing the cross over pipe was always important. A trick I used to use when sealing exhaust pipes was to bolt everything up very loosely and then rotate around to all the bolts and just do a few turns per rotation until everything is seated. Maybe common...

    While H-pipe is dropped...

I hear you....I am dreading the installation of the new H and that is why I am trying to cover all my bases before slapping it back on the car. I will check out the cross member bushings. As for Poly bushings, I was thinking they may transmit more vibration into the chassis because the poly is...

    While H-pipe is dropped...

Clutch is good. replace within last 15-20k and it grips great. While the car was up on the jack stands I did the fuel filter also and I was trying to inspect all the rubber bushing and spring isloators everywhere to get an idea of the condition, it is kind of hard to diagnosis but they seem good.

    While H-pipe is dropped...

I got the OEM h-pipe dropped to put in my new magnaflow high flow cat pipe which by the way is a very high quality peice. Full stainless steel construction with 2.5" piping and two high flow cats. I had to go with the H-pipe because the classic muscle car sound is priceless and I don't care...

    weak starter when cold

Forgot to mention I just did the battery so I think it is ok. The temperatures in Portland are around 30 degrees in the morning and that is when I notice the weak motor issue.

    weak starter when cold

I am guessing a weak starter motor at cold engine is probably a connection problem? Because when the car is warmed up and hot the starter sounds normal, but when it is cold it turns slowly and eventually fires up. Probably thermal expansion on the loose interface that makes a better connection...

    Injector Cleaning?

Has anyone had expierence with ultrasonic injector cleaning? I was thinking maybe the spray patterns and flow have degraded after 100K miles. Is it possible that getting the injectors cleaned and flow tesed would yeild better efficiency in the engine or would running a bottle of injector...

S197 EV6 injectors in Fox Body

I had no idea the 94-95 mass air is larger and bolts right up to the current wiring, that sounds like the cheapiest solution for elminating a constriction point. Also, if the explore intake and TB is good for 220+cfm, then is that all the air flow I would need for running CNC aluminum heads...

S197 EV6 injectors in Fox Body

Wow! Thanks for all the information, I am reading a lot about fox mustang to get up on the curve so this will help. The car currently has flowmasters, BBK shorties, Underdrive Pulleys, & K&N air filter. I am planning to add in the BBK catted H-pipe soon to finish opening up the exhaust system...

S197 EV6 injectors in Fox Body

I have a set of 2005 mustang 24# injectors laying around that I thought might work as a good upgrade in my notch. I found some adapters online that allow EV6 injectors to adapt to an EV1 style wire harness. The injector impedence and size looks interchangable...

    New Spinning Shifter

Ouch. Any water to put out these flames?? Actually, the shifter feels no different than a regualar ball style shifter, the center ring is recessed in the ball so you really don't feel it when you are shifting. You grab your hand around the entire knob for shifting so I don't notice it.

    New Spinning Shifter

Check out my new shifter on my '05. It definitely has a unique twist to it since the center ring section spins. The picture alone didn't do it enough justice so I put it on youtube. I have to give Xada Racing kudos for a high quality product, even the packaging was pretty top notch. :nice...
