    Smoke Headlights for '00 GT

I'd like to replace the clear OE headlight assemblies on my '00 GT with the darker OE lights from a '01 or newer. Will the newer OE light assemblies fit my '00 without any mods? The reason I'm looking at the OE assemblies rather than aftermarket assemblies is that I've heard a lot of stories...

    Sad day for the Stang...

It's best to put the Blizzaks (and other winter tires) on all four corners. You want all four tires to have about the same amount of grip when turning, braking, etc. to maintain control. I've been using Blizzaks for years on my Subies and they do make a big difference even with AWD or 4WD. Don

    New Wheels - Width

Thanks again for your reply. I'm guessing that my OE wheels on my '00 GT are 8". Am I right? After just buying the 4 245/45/17's I can't afford to change wheel sizes yet. Don

    New Wheels - Width

After seeing some of the nice aftermarket wheels some of our members have put on their cars, I'm seriously considering replacing the OE wheels on my '00 GT. I have just installed a new set of 245/45/17 Eagle Responsedge tires on the OE wheels on my car. I believe the OE 17" wheels are 8" wide...

    would u do this?

I agree! It's even less often that they offer an even swap with no cash for the dealership. Don't be surprised if the offer changes when you go back. What the salesman says initially, and what his manager finally agrees to, may be worlds apart (and usually are) Don

    Street bike owners!!

Thought you all would get a kick out of my latest ride - a 2004 Suzuki Burgman 650 scooter. It's a 650cc with a top speed of 110 mph and will do 0 - 60 in 7 seconds. It has a computer-controlled CVT transmission. The underseat storage compartment holds 2 full face helmets with no problem. I've...

Why my cars never will never go through a drive through carwash

I saw a car wash a number of years ago where one of the large vertcal spinning brushes that wash the sides of the car ripped off a short piece of chrome trim off the side of a Pontiac. The piece of metal got hooked in the brush and beat the passenger side of 3 cars before anyone realized what...

    What's your age?

I remember when electric typewriters and hand-held calculators were the latest devices in the office and A/C and auto transmissions in cars were for the rich. Computers? Hell, they're just a fad. The more I read (and enjoy) this thread, the older I feel. :D Don

Damn, ya'all make me feel old. I'm 67 but I feel like 17 when I'm in my Mustang (top-down and my Sirius playing 50's & 60's Rock 'n roll). I bought my first Mustang new in '65. As anyone had any experience installing the 2 piece urethane tonneau cover on their convertible? I really like the "speedster" look. How hard are they to install? Thanks, Don

What does everyone do for a living

I'm retired (16 years) and all I do is sit on my butt and wait for my pension and Social Security checks. I get my '00 GT convertible tomorrow so now I can polish and drive between the checks. It's a tough life! :nice: Don

To get a bike or not to get a bike...pics.

I've been riding street bikes for over 30 years and LOVE it. I started on a 400cc Yamaha and have owned a number of cruisers and touring bikes and have enjoyed them all. When you ride a bike you have to accept the risks involved. There is no way to eliminate the risks but you have to do...
