    You cannot patch a sidewall on a tire, too much flex. I've done it though and it worked, but it is not safe.

    My friend was going to do it, it's pretty expensive and takes quite a bit or work. He just bought a roller motor for $150.00. Used it and he's happy. It had better heads and pistons anyway's. You can find HO motors for real cheap, they last forever too.

    Sugar will not dissolve in gasoline. It will turn into a concrete like substance in the filler neck though. I worked at a ghetto shop where vandalized cars where very common. It won't make it past your fuel filter, but it will smoke your pump, if it is sugared, drop the tank, put in a new pump...

    I have the tfs stage 1 cam. I think I heard that stock springs are only good for .500 lift. with the tfs cam being .510, Is it really critical I change the springs?     Low Weight Battery

    A motorcycle battery will not have the cranking amps to start a car. It will run the headlights for a little bit, your alternator won't blow it up, but I really can't see it starting your car, but if you jump start your car, I could see it working. I'd still put an optima in the trunk.

    You would be crazy to put red clutches in a street driven car. They won't last. You should use stock or if you're really into it, use blue's. Get a police sprague so it will hold more clutches, Go with the lentech valve body or at least a transgo shift kit, and you'll love your AOD.

    I'd buy a 87-92 HO motor and put a 4bbl carb and maybe an air gap intake on it. You can pick those motors up for real cheap.

    4000 on a stock motor, that was a waste of money. Seeing that the power band ends at what 4800. Wow dude you get 800 rpm's of use out of that. If the shop you took it too are hacks, why did you take it there. Your going to trust that they rebuilt that tranny properly, I bet you got took.
