    No leave it on. It won't come off because th middle of the puller is not centered in the bolt hole correctly, or too large and pushing on the dampner itself. Undo the bolts on the pulley and tap it a bit to loosen it away from the dampner.

    I called FRPP and they told me I could run the B or E cam on my GT40's with 1.7RR's. But unless you got a great deal on those parts you would be better off with some AFR 165's

    Holy crap! I don't have that much invested in the headers to got through all that. I guess BBK makes some LT's that clear, I have a set of LT's on it now and want to stick with them. BTW:Your not going to try and sell me a camshaft now are you?

    Thanks man, it's definately that damn plug. I tried shorter plugs but the threads are not deep enough to reach in to the plug hole. The header pushes against the plug. I have dimpled the header a bit to remedy this but to no avail. Damn money pit........

    I'm having issues with #7 plug on these GT40P heads. My header doesn't clear the plug on that side real well I've already had three plugs break on me. I'm running carbed no fuel injection here.

    I got chewed out on sbftech.com for asking the same question. I had in my hands a FRPP B cam and asked if I should use it with my combo and next thing I knew I was an absolute idiot who should be riding a tricycle.

    maybe, I cut it anyhow. The only piece I cut off was the top part that's between the block and bellhousing. I left the part between the starter intact.

    How friggen important is it? I got the motor all bolted in and ready to go when I tripped over it. Do I need to take the engine back out or can I just cut out the bottom part and bolt that single peice in?

    Not even close. This car has been an uphill battle from day one. But I finally am almost ready to get the new engine in it. So right now it's a POS. I like all fox body stangs, be it a four eyed or aero style, GT or LX, coupe or hatch.
