gt-40 heads

i dont know if this should be in the tech or the talk, but i need to know the casting #'s for the gt-40 heads for a 302. my parts department is giving me problems on tring to find thoes heads. i know there on the 96 explorer but they want #'s. i dont want P heads i need gt-40's thanks

Your not buying them new from ford I hope. The only part#'s I can get are CH.70.RM and those are like 715.00 each bare from ford.

im not buying them from ford. im going through a parts dept. at my work and they said they need casting # or a vin # to find thease heads. the zone wants $296 per head, but i know i can get them cheaper through a commercial account

Go to the wreckers and get a set for 300.00
