    C4 problems

there are only 2 reasons why a C4 wont go into park, 1st is the linkage is adjusted wrong 2nd is you broke of the parking tab in the trany. The 1st reason is the most common and the second almost never happens unless you try to put it in park when your moving. Also if the linkage is out of...

    brakes problem

The vacuum booster is just that, a booster, you dont have to push as hard on the pedal. The booster seems to be working correct but the pedal falls when vacuum is hooked up. This tells me the push rod needs adjusted, anyone have the specs.

    Lifter Noise

When you pulled the plug wires one at a time and found the one that taps that tells me the valves on that cylinder need adjusted. The cylinder firing causes a push on the valve face and a loose rocker will show up, when there is no fire in that cylinder ther is no pressure on the valve face, no...

    IGNITION REMOVAL

I think thats correct, use a small straight paperclip as to large a clip will not work. I do think that when you turn the key to accessory then put the paper clip in and you will feel a spring load against the clip pushing the clip back out, then turn the key to the left just a little past...

    those crazy windows...

First, check the body lines where the fenders meet the doors, they wont be perfect but a line that is closer at the top than the bottom could mean rusty floor boards or rockers. I did type in how to adjust the glass but it is pretty complicated to write down so you need a manual, I would...

    Wheel Cylinder troubles.

I had the same problem with the advance wheel cylinders, here is what I found. The bleeder screws are to loose in the threads so when you "crack" them open to bleed they draw air through the threads, more so with a one man pump bleeder. I went back and purchaced 4 self bleeded screws and they...

    problem with pistons

I agree with "D" but I like full floating pins. I would have had the bushings honed for a full float and not worry about pin centering, less stress on rod to. On a 302- 351 the rod to piston relationship is, With the piston notch or arrow facing toward the front of motor the numbers on the...
