With $500-1000 to spend, what would you recommend for my next mod? Not sure which way to go. Below are my current modifications. THANKS

    JACKING

I have jacked cars up on the pumpkin numerous times without a problem. It is safe as long as you are cautious not to bend the differential cover. In fact, the Haynes manual indicates that the pumpkin is a valid jacking point. If you are concerned about bending something, I recommend purchasing a...

Thanks! Would you happen to know if there is software which can be loaded onto a laptop which has these capabilities? Or can only a specific scan tool do this?

    OBD-II Scan tool

I was looking into purchasing an OBD-II scan tool. Does anyone have any recommendations? I want something that has the capability to read all the codes, log data, and be able do things such as cycle ABS solenoids etc. Any ideas? THANKS :flag:

    Granatelli

I hear ya with the price (about $500). Was willing to give them a try. I would be satistifed even if I just benefited from better throttle response and a few HP and TQ.

    Granatelli

Anyone running Granatelli COP on their N/A 99+? I noticed them on a few websites but haven't heard of anyone running them. Are they worth any power, throttle response etc.?

Who's running an X pipe and a Mac catback?

I have a catted magnaflow x and MAC C/B. I love the way it sounds. Very aggressive and not raspy at all. This is probably attributed to the fact that the mid pipe is catted. .

    TACH install help

I am helping my friend install a tach in his 2001 cobra. He purchased it from speedhut. The directions which suck IMO indicate that it does not require a tach adaptor. There is one yellow wire which is the tach lead. However, I am not sure how to hook it up. I assume that I may have to splice...

    Plug gap

Not exactly stang related but it is a 4.6. Does anyone know what the plug gap should be on a 99 4.6 NPI motor in a crown vic. I have a set of autolite 764's. I ran the gap tool over them and they are showing .047. Do they need to be opened up more? Thanks. :flag:

    Please help with header install!

My brother and I are installing Mac equal length headers on his 90 5sp GT. The driver side went on without too much difficulty. The passanger side on the other hand is a nightmare! We were finally able to pry the header and get it close to bolting up, but its is way too tight. So tight that...

    Cam Install

Shouldn't be much different than a stock install from my understanding. Might want to upgrade your valve springs while everything is apart. Car will also need a dyno tune to get it running properly with the new cams. I'm sure someone else wil chime in if I forgot anything.
