TACH install help

I am helping my friend install a tach in his 2001 cobra. He purchased it from speedhut. The directions which suck IMO indicate that it does not require a tach adaptor. There is one yellow wire which is the tach lead. However, I am not sure how to hook it up. I assume that I may have to splice into one of the COP but I do not know which wire to tap into. Dont want to start experimenting Ideas? Thanks!

You hook that wire into one of the computer wires under the passenger kick panel. It would be the same as hooking up the raptor shift light.

If you have the "coil over plug" set up you'll need either an adaptor or http://www.msdignition.com/2006/06-22.htm a Tach signal GMR pickup, if you don't want to cut.
