    ABS Electric Power Brake System

ABS Electric Power Brake System SOLD SOLD! This is a basically new ABS electric power brake system. I was going to use it a few years ago on the '67 vert and ended up getting thwarted by a clearance issue I created myself. :bang: It's been sitting in a box ever since. It needs a little...

    GT500 Bypass Valve Actuator Replacement?

Can anyone help me find a part number or source for the '07 GT500 supercharger bypass valve actuator? I'm looking for the actuator itself -- the black plastic canister that hooks up to vacuum. Thanks!

Shop owners: How has business been?

Like the title says...how has business been? Our little hobby industry is funded by people's "spare money" and as gas prices skyrocketed in '08 there was less and less of that to go around. I'm seeing and hearing of shops and small manufacturers going under left and right. I'm about as...

The Reenmachine '65 Fastback Vintage Racer Unveiled!

I build and race radio-control cars as a hobby -- actually, I'm getting a little obsessive about it. We started a Vintage class at our local track, so of course I built a Mustang! I took inspiration from the Shelby/Terlingua Racing Team '67 Mustang notchback T/A cars, and changed the yellow to...

    Ad-bots in our threads! Confusing.

It looks like there's some new forum "feature" that picks out keywords and makes them links to advertisers' websites. Given how everyone here posts inline links to actual things they're talking about it can be confusing! In the g-Bar thread it already looked like people were posting links to...

Have old Tamiya R/C cars from the 80s?

I was way into Tamiya R/C off-road buggies in the early 80s when I was a kid. My parents, once they saw my interest, really encouraged me to build them, modify them, and fix them when I inevitably broke them. It's a big part of what made me into a wrench-turner and stuck with me for life (for...

Help me ID this 9" housing and maybe talk me out of it.

This 9" housing came with a '68 Mustang I bought. It's not original to the car and I have no info on where it came from. I was planning on using it in the '68 Bullitt I'm building but a few things about it bother me. Perhaps you all can set my mind at ease. I'll list what I know -- let...

    Updated TCP G-Bar triangulated 4-link...

I just received my new TCP catalog and I've got to say that the new updated G-bar triangulated 4-link looks pretty dern nice. I can do without the billet aluminum lower arms on the higher-end version, but they make a steel-armed version with pivot balls at the ends as well. This should go a...

New wheel pics from SEMA -- P-Shop help PLEEEEASE!

Can one of you talented gurus put these on a '65 coupe for me?????? I gotta have them! There was an H2 a couple of cars down with 32s, but they didn't look quite as absurd since that's such a big vehicle. :nonono: :nonono: :nonono:

Any San Diego guys here impacted by the fire? (and tech Qs)

I know this belongs in talk, but it deserves a bigger audience. Does anyone know of any forum members impacted by the fires in SoCal? Post what you know and it would be cool if we could do a little something for them. ummmmmmm...has anyone ever done an EFI swap on an early Mustang...

Looks like Unique Performance is going under...

Having ol' Shel and Foose on your side is today's greatest marketing asset. Having them both pissed at you is likewise the worst-case scenario. It was bound to happen sooner or later -- that's an awfully big elephant to feed based on a fad car from a movie that's seven years old now...

The "Mustang II" IFS Real Info & Debate Thread

There's always so much debate about the so-called "Mustang II" suspension systems that I figured we should have a thread all about it (STICKY?). Most of the information thrown around is false or unsubstantiated, but there are some good and valid points to be made on both sides. Everyone knows...

Battery tray & apron delete idea (pics)

So I was replacing some of the steel in the front subframe of the new project car and had what I think is a pretty cool idea while I was at it. The battery's going in the trunk and I wanted more room in the right front wheelwell for some tubular bracing. I cut out the right front apron, got a...

    Making billet T-5 shifters...need opinions

I'm having the shifters that I had made for the project cars produced to sell. They're machined from billet aluminum and are shaped to bring the knob up and back where you want it to be after your T-5 swap. They'll be anodized for a durable finish and therein lies the question. Would you...

Help a classic guy with '04 GT bolt-ons...

Howdy from the classic forums -- I need some suggestions. The guy in the shop next to mine has an '04 GT that he wants me to do the "basic" upgrades to (meaning relatively cheap and relatively effective). I've searched around here and have a pretty good idea what to do, but let me know what...

Hella Black Magic driving lights mounted inboard! Looks awesome. (pics)

I mounted the Hella Black Magic driving lights on the blue '68 fastback today, and I must say it is one of the coolest custom mods I've done. They look awesome! When the front end is all together you'll barely notice them, but the lights are very effective.

Sick Stewart-Warner '68 cluster for the blue fastback

Don't try this at home :p :p :p Took the better part of a week and thus will most likely be a one-off, but it came out sweeeeeet. PITA, but sweeeeeet. The white LED lighting is my favorite part -- hard to photograph though, and the needles show up a lot better than it looks. Electronic...
