    Clutch & KB 9psi kit

Yesterday my 9 psi KB kit was shipped. I have the notchy 1-2-3 gear thingy, and I am going to have it fixed before I put in the KB. I am concidering to upgrade my clutch at the same time and I would like to have suggestions/opinions on which clutch to get? I have heard mixed opinions between...

    Spec clutches?

The torque capacity of the stage 2 SPEC is only 530 and you are pushing 550+ with the 200 shot so it is no wonder that the clutch is slipping. I am still debating weather to get a SPEC stage 3 or the king cobra myself...

    Which Supercharger to Get??

This thread has become a pissing contest. You have 2 different styles of SC, which both have their upsides and downsides. A centrifugal blower will be faster at the track. no comparison. A twinscrew blower will have more kick-in-the-ass feeling and is more fun to drive daily. I...

    King Cobra Clutch...any good?

I am installing my 9psi KB kit in two weeks. I will have my 3650 go through the 1-2, 2-3 BS and it would be a good thing to upgrade my clutch then. I get mixed messages from this thread and I am even more confused than before reading it. Should I leave my clutch stock, 'upgrade' to a KC or...

    KB 9psi questions

I have ordered the KB 9psi kit but I have some questions about KB's 'optional' mods. KB Recommends the following: - Boost-a-spark - 90mm Mass air meter - new TB, either 70mm or 75mm - cool air kit or 'big tube' kit My current mods are a K&N CAI, Borla Catback (and a SLP X-pipe, not...

KB 1.7 on GT of 03/04 Cobra for daily driver?

I had the same "problem" a couple of weeks ago. I have a 02 GT convertible with minor mods (CAI, catback, springs/shocks/struts). I was considering trading it in for a 03 snake (convertible). This would have put me down about $10k. My other option was to beef up my GT and slap on the 9psi kit...

    people with 00 read here?

I guess it all depends on the budget. I bought my 02 convertible GT last summer and I made myself a budget. First came the K&N CAI and the Borla stinger catback. About 3 months later came a set of Tokico HP shocks/struts/lowering springs. This week I bought the SLP catted X, deepdish bullit...

    wheel/tire advice...

I have (had) the same dilemma. I have stock bullits on the car and was told that the widest i could possibly go would be 275's in the back. So I went out and bought deep dish bullits and I am most likely going to put nittos on them. The total cost for that package will be ~$1700. Joe

    ALIGNMENT HELP PLEASE....

I am experiencing the same thing on my left front tire. I have the tokico HP series struts/shocks/springs and the adjustments available are not enough. So I will be installing CC plates before my new tires go on. Joe

Tested out the whole mpg thing

I drive only 5 miles to/from work twice a day, which is not very good for your engine/gas milage. I still get between 240-260 miles to the tank (I fill her up when the light goes on). This is not excellent, but I did not buy my stang to get good gas milage :) Joe

    newbie 5-speed question

Don't worry, you didn't damage anything. I am from Europe where 90% of the cars are stick, so I have been driving stick for the last 15 years and I have done the same as you did alot. Most European cars do not require the clutch to be pressed while you start the car so I have on several...

    Bullit Wheels

Try to get in touch with Performance Tire LLC. They carry 18x9 and 18x10 bullit replicas. I spoke to a fellow named Jeff and he was very helpful. They can be reached at 281-748-6053 or [email protected] if you prefer email. I paid $750 and that included the s&h charges. Joe

    octane boost?

The Octane rating of the gasoline that you use in your car will tell you the ratio of isooctane and heptane. Isooctane is very resilient to 'knocking' while heptane 'knocks' very easily. When people speak about 'knocking' or 'pinging' they speak about premature detonation, which eventually will...

Where did you order them? The more I read about it the more I am leaning towards the 265 & 305 combo. Or can I go 315 on a 18x10 rim? Joe

    Saleen hard tonneau cover.

The disadvantage with the saleen is that it won't fit in your trunk. Once you put it on you just have to pray that it wont start to rain.... Cervini makes a 2-piece cover that will fit in your trunk. You might want to check them out.
