65-66 Shock tower brackets Vs. 67-68

Your question is complicated to answer. You say you are trying to put Bilstein shocks on a 67 but they won't fit? So, you want to use the 65-66 mounts so they will? Is that right? Take a look at my 65 shock tower mounts and tell me what is different about your 67.

The Worst Part of an Engine Swap

Good info. Instead of using my thumb to plug up the #1 plug hole, I stuff a shop rag in the hole with a screwdriver. When the cylinder comes up to the top compression stroke, the rag pops out and makes quite a loud sound. There's more ways to kill a cat than one. :D

    Engine Wiring Pictures

Look at MustangMatt1966's engine bay to get a better idea of how to route the plug wires. Yes, you will still have one or two of them crossing one another, but you can turn the part that fits into the cap so that they do not touch. I only have one that crosses another, and I have about a 2"...

Found in oil pan - ideas?

No doubt it is old hard valve stem seals that have finally broken off and dropped into the pan. How much oil are you burning?

Thank you StangGT1995. I'm not sure what grudge he has against me, but it can't have anything to do with my addition to the FAQ section because that information has been gathered by me for over 3 years now, and I would think this valuable information would be welcomed into the Classic community...

    Courtesy lights stay on

The headlight switch has been turned every way but loose with no dhange. Yeah, I know the headlight switch can be turned all the way to the left and the interior lights come on, but that is not my problem. It's a wiring problem that I will have to figure out. Thanks for your input guys.

That's not true, and there is an insunation involved here which indicates you feel these offerings of information should not be submitted by me. Obvioulsy TUBO and Ratioq411 feel like you, but not the rest of the world on this forum which includes the mod and adminstrator. They feel that the...

    Courtesy lights stay on

The problem is that the courtesy lights are turned on all the time and do not shut off when the door is closed and the little black switch in the pillar is pushed in. Thanks for your input though.

    Courtesy lights stay on

A new problem has raised its' ugly head and I can't figure out how to repair it. The courtesy lights stay on whether or not the doors are shut or closed. I replaced the little black shut off buttons, but that didn't do anything. I took them completely off so that there was an open circuit...

    Best Intake and Carb

If it only spits black stuff at startup, then most likely it is just condensation that has built up in your exhaust system overnight. There are lots of possibilities for an intake and carb, but you might want to research the Weiand stealth intake and about a 600 cfm Holley carb.

Thank you. Tubo seems to have a problem with me that needs to be worked out somewhere other than here on this tech site, and needs to take his attacks on me elsewhere. I notice that he has contributed absolutely nothing up there, but criticizes me with my contribution. That is called...

    Radiator US on Ebay

One core huh? I'm afraid the water would not get cooled before it was returned to the block. I have a friend with an AFCO 2 row and it keeps his engine quite cool. I have a 4 row copper core that works real well with my set-up.

    rough idle on my 66

The 4100 is not your problem because you have the stock intake. Try adjusting the idle adjustment screws. Take them all the way in, the out about 1 1/2 turns. Start the car and bring the right screw out 1/4 turn at a time. Once the engine smooths out, then adjust the left screw the same as...

    EFI engine swap

It's quite obvious this is a restomod Mustang site. I have just as much right at being here to express my opinions as any of you. Does anyone want to tell me that I am wrong for expressing my opinions about restomodding Classic Mustangs on this site?
