    I would run a synthetic, and extend the change interval to 5K. All the manufacturers have revised their intervals (except one of the German MFGs who dropped from 24K to 15K). The synthetics don't break down as badly in the heat as the Dino oils (and the Dino oils are much improved nowadays)...
