    I wanst too concerned about the a/f ration since i would likely let the mass air control that by measuring the air intake through one common tube. Just the same your right on with space limitations.

    Well the more I look into it clearence will be an issue with any mounting method, unless i cut my hood or get a huge cowl. The only thing I can think of actually working and fitting is for two tb's to come off the stock location but on a custom upper.

    lol...well I have 370 in parts alone in it, and pro motion gives 150 for cores that are trashed. so i wouldnt even consider selling it for less than 600. they go on ebay for 750 up all day long

    Tremec Question: How Bad Is It...

    Are you sure it isnt a drift pin your were trying to "tighten". No flame intended. I just got done rebuilding my T5 and a drift pin hold that piece on the selection lever not a allen screw. But it may be different on a tremec I am not sure? But that would explain why it looks cracked.

    Just got done rebuilding this T-5 WC. I put a Master rebuild kit in and new 2nd and 3rd gears. The kit included EVERYTHING, I got it from D and D Performance. So should I keep it and toss it in the car for a while or sell it? What a basically new tranny worth? This one is rated at 300 ft lbs...

    Opinion on a 86 Mustang

    I am rebuilind a tranny as we speak. A 3rd gear is only around 100 bucks as you say but plan on putting in a syncro kit and remember there a reason that gear is gone. Plan on around 400 bucks to get it all back to normal.

    I also just talked to liberty trans and don walsh sr. my options are def. limited. i did find a new 3550 for 1250 though, what do you guys think about that deal, what will the 3550 stand up to? Also I think i am going to just rebuild this trans to stock specs and sell it on ebay or something...

    well its 1095 for the 1st-4th gear set, 295 for the better shaft and 200 for the small parts kit, so they basically say 1600 for the whole enchilada not including the install which is another 200. 1800 for a t5 that will handle 600hp from the flywheel. OUCH, now I am back to square one again...
