    18s and higher are too much wheel for the early cars. The body lines just aren't made for huge wheels. I think 17s should be out of the question unless you have big disc brakes and an agressive look to match the large wheels. Otherwise, it looks cartoonish. 20s are useless and look...

    Well, I drive my car alot and I like the manual steering, even with my 8 inch wide front tires. I do have a Flaming River Steering box though (which is $500 itself)

    do not use synthetic oil

    I use redline 10W 30 on my 331. 500 break in miles with regular oil and then synthetic. I just like the $80 oil changes. :)

    It sure was a mystery to me. I am going to get a good alternator. One wire, that is all that is needed for a 94-95 V8 alternator, huh? I doubt that is more than $100. I will head to the parts store.

    Trading TKO for Built T5 - Good idea?

    I did replace the rear seal once, and that wasn't the cause. I am going to my friends shop so they can put her on a lift to see if is something simple. If not, I have to replace something.

    I have a mix of pulleys, one is underdrive. I need a new waterpump snout to put my good pulleys on (serpentine pulleys). Would a 1 wire alternator be a good idea while I am at it? I could get rid of the mess of wires AND the volage regulator, correct?

    I think I am reading just under that. I believe my volts were... off - just barely under 12 running / idle - just under 12 running higher - 13 - 13.5 I do have an electric fan and an electric fuel pump. This problem hasn't happened before. Should I pony up for a good alternator...
