The T5 I am looking at is from Gordon Levy in Phoenix. It is a built T5 that he puts in fast cars like his Mustangs and FFR Roadsters and Coupes, cars faster than mine, so I am not worried about the quality.

Here is why....

1. It will fit better.
2. It is lighter.
3. It will use up less hp.
4. The TKO throws fluid on the x pipe when it is shifted hard.

Number 1 and 4 are the big reasons. I think it throws fluid because it is tilted back. I am going to have my friend look at it at his shop before I leave to Phoenix next Sunday.

What would I need new, other than an adapter spacer and the T5 mounts? I assume I can keep the clutch, hydraulic set up, and everything else.

I am only going to use this if I can keep my hydraulic clutch set up, which I am sure I can.

What do you think?

I would do it. I love my t 5 but eventually I'm going to eat the gears so I have plans to go with a g-force unit that is supposted to handle 600 hp so i think I'll be good to go :D

Also if its throwing fluid thats not good.

The T-5 will also sit back unless you cut the tranny tunnel. I found the Tremec to fit better than my old T-5 did in regards to the shifter hole as well.
I seem to break a LOT less tranny mounts as well.

Why not replace the rear seal on the Tremec to stop the leaking. Mine does not leak :)
