    How would you install a T5 5.0?

    Hi guys, well this will be my first time installing a T5 5.0 engine. Anyways, i removed it by dropping the transmission/bell housing then hoisting out the engine. I remember it being VERY difficult removing the bolts. I had to have a ton of extensions and it wasn't the easiest to say the least...

    What temp does your 5.0 run at?

    Like others mentioned, the stock gauge is usually inaccurate. Mine read 160 degress when warmed up. But it is a 100% stock car with 54k. I've never hooked up a Autometer gauge to tell if its accurate or not though. But thats what it reads ha.

    Oh wow ha. I can't imagine spending the money to do that and being satisfied! Very different indeed! Look at the bright side though, you could run like a 10.5 inch rim on the front! Ha

    I agree. I currently have a SC-trim that i'm trying to get 10lbs out of. Change the pulleys first, but a AFM powerpipe wouldn't hurt anything either! Good luck!

    why??

    The real question is, what kind of companies are making these kind of parts for a Mustang. What are they thinking? But anyways, yes its disappointing. But i'm sure the owner of that car takes pride in it just as we do ours. Hopefullly he isn't a member of this site, so he doesn't come across...
