Want more Boost!!!

Just wandering what would be the cheapest, and easiest way to get more boost out of my novi 1220 sl. Should I just go with a smaller supercharger pulley, or should I do the 8 inch crank pulley with the Power pipe. Looking for about 8-10 psi out of it. Thanks for the help

you want the compressor to turn faster to increase boost. To do that increase the size of the compressor's pulley

Im sure you meant to say decrease the size of the pulley.

A larger diameter crank pulley, smaller diameter blower pulley, or a combo of both will increase boost as long as you are already not at the CFM limits of the blower.

A power pipe will help out also ( more air in more air out )

My home made power pipe picked up a little over 1lb on an 8 lb set up.

Decrease pulley size..or larger volume blower.

i'd make the effort to change the crank pulley first. the bigger blower pulley the better, a larger pulley will have more belt contact and go a long way to reducing belt slip.... once you get the biggest crank pulley you can, then you will need to start downsizing the blower pulley...

I agree. I currently have a SC-trim that i'm trying to get 10lbs out of. Change the pulleys first, but a AFM powerpipe wouldn't hurt anything either! Good luck!

Thanks for the help guys, I guess I will go with the 8 inch renegade crank pulley and the afm power pipe for now. If I choose to in the future go with a smaller supercharger pulley what size would you guys go with, the stock pulley is a 3.80. Also anyone know the cheapest place to get an 8 inch crank pulley and power pipe??
