    Help installing cold air intake

You turn the meters orientation to put the sensor part inside the MAF in a better airflow area. Basically...it's mounted now with the sensor part on top...to clock it, you would turn it so the sensor is to the right or left...not on top.

    Help installing cold air intake

It never does...not quite right. What will help is if you remove the MAF meter from it's little mounting bracket, and let it float between the two pipes. The pipes are solid, so it doesn't really need to be mounted on that bracket anymore. That being said, you realize the factory setup is a...

Trying to change out clutch cable...

Thanks Daggar! :) It's so nice being able to use gears other than 2nd and 4th, and not having to put my foot to the flor as hard as I can... :)

Trying to change out clutch cable...

Well, in only about a half hour this morning, I was able to get the old BBK cable on. It worked fine with the Fiore and I didn't even need to pry the fork to get the threaded end connected. The Fiore with the BBK quad must take up a lot of length. When I had just the BBK cable on there...it...

Trying to change out clutch cable...

No, I ordered the FRPP double hook from Summit because I get stuff from them in two days. http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=FMS%2DM%2D7583%2DA&N=115&autoview=sku

Trying to change out clutch cable...

Oh no, good suggestion. I figured something was up when I had the FWA all the way "loose", and I could barely get the fork end to touch the fork without leveraging the clutch fork almost fully through it's travel...definately not right. It's my own fault...I shouldn't have assumed that 8+...

Trying to change out clutch cable...

I assume you mean removing the grommet and trimming down the tabs...if so..of course. I'm not that retarded. ;) I think it's a case of the old BBK quadrant not working with the shorter OEM cable...similar to Hissin's problem. :)

Trying to change out clutch cable...

I agree...as soon as I can drive again...I'm going directly to the local parts store and get one! :P Well, I ordered a FRPP double hook quadrant...it claims to work with the OEM cable and a firewall adjuster.. :)

Trying to change out clutch cable...

Yeah..that's kinda what I figured. Since I need this going now, I may put the BBK cable back in, and use the Fiore to adjust it until I figure out what I need to get use the new OEM cable. I should be able to use the BBK with the Fiore I would assume. I took off the grommet and cleaned up...

Trying to change out clutch cable...

I know. I'm not sure what the problem is. Is the cable too short? Will the OEM cable not work with the BBK quad? Do I need a new, longer cable? Do I need a new quad? I have no idea where to go from here... This is what I have in there now...well...minus the cable. You can see the quad in...

Trying to change out clutch cable...

No offense...I've been trying to do that ALL DAY. The way it is now..even if I did get the cable hooked on at the fork...it would be disengaged all the time.

Trying to change out clutch cable...

I thought about that...but I can barely get my hands up there...I have no idea how'd I'd get any leverage to hook it on the quad.. It's almost like the cable is too short? I got the FORD OEM cable that comes with a clutch fork...and I removed the rubber grommet.

Trying to change out clutch cable...

Man...I'm so screwed. This has taken me all day and I can't get it on at the fork. I figured out how to pry the fork almost all the way to one side..but the cable still won't get there. I'm using a BBK quadrant that came with the adjustable cable.. If the Fiore is adjusted all the way to the...

Trying to change out clutch cable...

Well, I'm at a stand still now... I have the new cable in...as well as the Fiore. I have the fiore adjusted all the way into the firewall..and I have the cable hooked on the quad... However...I just can't seem to pry enough on the fork to get the other end on... Of course, I don't have a...

Trying to change out clutch cable...

Thanks. I finally got it figured. I had to take the adjusting nut all the way off at the clutch fork to remove the cable...then that little c-clip holidng the cable into the tranny threw me for a loop. I've got the old one out now..installing the fiore and the new OEM cable...

Trying to change out clutch cable...

...and I'm not having much success except geting coated from head to toe in grease and grime. I have a POS BBK adjustable cable in there now, and I've spent the last hour trying to get it off the fork. I can barely see the end on the quadrant...I'm sure that will take even longer...nevermind...

Need help finding a bad ground...I think.

The block to firewall ground behind the motor often becomes disconnected. It's behind the intake manifold on the drivers side... a strap with a big ring terminal on the end...

    LRS "Micro-Click" Firewall Adjuster...

Yeah, the Fiore one has a sleeve that spins so when you adjust it, you don't twist the table and introduce more tension. Now I'm just hoping it will work with the quadrant I have in there from my POS BBK adjust at the clutch fork kit....

    LRS "Micro-Click" Firewall Adjuster...

Well, it will be here early next week and I'll snap a few pics. IIRC, the Fiore has their name stamped on it...right? I guess I'll find out if it's a Fiore clone, or the real thing. I was going to go with UPR's one...but everytime I get ready to order from that site, I realize how much I...
