    Let your imagination run wild. This bay didn't take any more money than other painted, chrome engine bays. It took hours of messing with bits to make them fit in a home garage.

    Subframe connectors

    If your'e looking at options this is how I stiffened my vert. While it was upside down I also stiched welded all the seams. It was surprising how few spot welds there were in some places.

    Yeah - made with 'L' shaped strips of polished stainless and welded to supports that bolt to the stock locations. Also added a wider piece on top to cover the gap between the grill and radiator. It's pretty basic stuff really, but very effective.

    The covers are polished stainless flanged rings with a rubber grommet. To fit them one must get rid of the stock shock support. The RRS struts eliminate the shock support. M

    The hole in this pin is sideways because it is not finally tightened, the pin goes thru the hole where the rubber hood stops were and a pin is inserted thru the grille to lock the hood down. M

    Note to self... make brake lines before engine install.

    For you guys who intend to keep your Stang forever or run on salty roads fitting the stainless brake line nuts is a good idea. So too is stainless brake lines. You will probably have to get the flares done at a brake shop if you use stainless lines as the tube is too hard for a 'home'...
