    hissin50, your right, I don't need the diode, the diode is required for the a/c, like you said. It's either a faulty t-stat, or a bad controller. As soon as power hits either the "+", "C", or "M" you can here a click inside the fan controller, if i install the fuse, the fan kicks on. Thanks...

    that's basically all the wiring. I can hook up an optional switch inside, and ther's a hook-up for a/c, which I don't have. I've read in several place that a diode may be required. any ideas?

    Actually I might have the 31" rad also. I don't have the car here right now, so I can't \measure it. Its the same width as the stock rad, but like you said, a little thicker. Like I said earlier, if you do have the same rad as mine, your going to have a clearance issue with you overflow resevoir.

    I agree, purchase a ket for the lx, it looks much nicer. I have an 89 notch with a 'DECH' kit (its Canadian). ABC now sells the same kit but without the word dech in the back. Cervinis makes the best stuff, buy my kit was excellent quality, fit, finish.
